Kamo District (Kamo-gun)
Kamo District (賀茂郡) is a rural district located in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of July 2012, the district has an estimated population of 47,001 and a population density of 97.9 persons per km2. The total area was 479.97 km2.
Kamo District currently is composed of five towns. The city of Shimoda was formerly part of the district.
